DESCRIPTION

Database members can archive data downloads, preserving them on the server so that they or others can later retrieve the exact same result set. This facility can be used to document the research process. Additionally, you can request that a DOI be generated for significant archives so that they can be quoted in research papers.

SYNOPSIS

Single data archive

This operation returns information about a single data archive, specified by its identifier.

Content of a data archive

This operation returns the content of a data archive, specified by its identifier. The content, format, and vocabulary of each archive is set when the archive is created.

List of data archives

This operation returns information about lists of data archives, selected according to the request parameters.

List of public data archives

This operation returns information about public data archives, selected according to the request parameters.

The following operations provide for entry, editing, and deletion of these records:

Add data archive records or update existing records

This operation allows you to add new data archive records to the database and/or update the attributes of existing records.

Delete data archives

This operation allows you to delete one or more existing data archives.
